For the London Architecture Festival
A pop up installation by St Paul's Cathedral

Visitors are invited to walk into the unexpected, a hoarded slice of native woodland in the middle of the city. A space where some might think about the relationship we have with our surrounding landscape and others might dream of the next stainless steel skyscraper.

Between St Paul's Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge, visitors were invited to step into an unexpected slice of native British woodland in the middle of the city. Entitled 'Building Site', this collaborative installation encouraged us to question our relationship with the urban environment. A mirrored interior was planted with mossy woodland floor, gnarled old tree trunks and fallen leaves, and peepholes allowed surreal glimpses to two different worlds.
