Walled garden of an 18th century Coach House
Chichester, West Sussex
This walled garden has two separate areas with distinct characters.
Inspired by the local micro-climate and sheltering walls, a mediterranean gravel garden occupies the sun baked lower garden. The upper garden has generous borders of vibrant contemporary perennial planting and a line of pleached Limes provides screening from adjacent gardens.
A new shed, a bespoke 'Loggia' by carpenter Adam Pochee, serves as both a beautiful focal point from the house and as a storage for tools.
